Creating joy brings about the best feeling you can have in life.
I moved to Coedpoeth in 2016 with my now wife. The village on the hill whose name translates to burnt wood. To get to know people I set up a crochet group in our local pub one evening a week and in March 2017 “The Hook Nook” was born. Initially I wanted to show people how to crochet and learn from others too – but mainly share my love of all things yarn.
We’ve had many people come along through the years, sharing their WIP’s (work in progress), woolly disasters, amazing creations but mainly we’ve shared our lives, lots of laughs and important life events too. These wonderful people have become my family and have given me the confidence to share with the world some of my creations.
You’ll find not only yarn related goodies here. I also trained as a silversmith, create bespoke gifts and try my hand at some wood work too.
Keep up to date with all that happens with CreuReKa – always a #CreationOfJoy in progress
